The Coordinator

Adegboyega (Adey) was born a little over five decades ago. Although raised as a ‘Christian’, he came to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in June of 1990. Since then, the Lord has taken him through various situations in his walk with Him.

Adjudging him worthy – solely on His grace alone, Adey has served the Lord in many capacities. He was involved in the launching of an itinerant evangelistic ministry – Harvest of Heirs Evangelistic Ministry – over a decade ago.

Before then, he held a leadership position in a student Christian Union during his university undergraduate days, where he led some of his colleagues on overseas mission to two neighbouring countries, among other places in his country of birth.

Furthermore, Adey has served in various capacities within the Church. These include heading the ushering department in one of his former local assemblies, as well as co-directing the welfare committee of the same assembly. He has a passion for seeing God’s Church grow in grace and image of the Lord, as well as seeing each believer do well in body and faith, ready for the Lord’s return.

He was consecrated as a deacon in the Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria many years ago and currently holds a ministerial credential in a Canadian Pentecostal organization. He trained as an economist for his first degree and also holds a graduate degree, as well as professional certifications of leading bodies in the UK and Canada.

His secular working experience traversed both the Canadian private and public sectors.

He is presently studying for a graduate degree in the area of Christian ministry.

The grip of a call from beyond myself

Among other confirmations, about 23 years ago – by a word of prophecy during a midweek program – Adey’s call was affirmed by one of God’s faithful ministers, who has since gone home to be with the Lord.

The quintessential pastor who did not know Adey in person as at the time called him from the back (expectedly) of the large hall and asked the congregation to pray for him regarding a Kingdom mission he himself mentioned he did not have the details but was undoubtedly impressed upon his spirit.

Before God and man, Adey wakes up and goes to bed fixated on thoughts about advancing the Kingdom of God and His Christ. Indeed, he has experienced ‘the grip of a call from beyond himself’ and thus habitually shares the Gospel with people from various walks of life as their paths cross.
